Spyro the Dragon Boom: Guardians

SO it took me forever to do this as well. I'm trying to show off as many designs as possible for the series. But here are my redesigns for the guardians. 

I tried to be consistent with their uniforms so you could see that they're all comrades, brothers, a team, all that friendship junk and that. Unlike Spyro and the others, the guardians wear a lot more clothes. This is used to symbolize that they aren't as active as the young dragons but they still serve an important purpose. This purpose being, the wise, brave and knowledgeable mentors to our heroes. 

And the opacity is at its worst here. You can tell because you can see through Volteer's cloak and that I don't know why the hell it does that. I seriously need to look into this. But that background though...

Ignitus- In the "Legend" series he was sort of a wise mentor and father figure to Spyro, I decided to dress him up as an ancient philosopher. His cloak is reminiscent of that of both greek philosophers and a little bit of renaissance artist. Ignitus activates his fury by using the pressing fire emblem on his sash. 

Volteer- Since he's the smart, curious and talkative one, I decided to dress him up in an attire similar to that of Issac Newton. He likes reading and trying to come up with logical explanations for everything and he also serves as a sort guide for the young dragons by providing maps and field guides for them. He can get pretty wordy with his explanations and he still gets into arguments with Cyril.  He activates his fury by turning the electric emblem on his belt.

Cyril-He was the obnoxious one who went on about being part of noble blood line and all that, so I decided to emphasize that. He's dressed up like a regal knight. This is used to show that he's a fighter and at the same time a regal dragon. He's not as obnoxious about his ancestors as his "Legend" counterpart but there are times he can act immaturely. He still gets into fights with Volteer. He activates his fury by swiping over the ice emblem on his belt.

Terrador-He was once a blacksmith and miner that ended up becoming one of the best military leaders the dragon race has ever had. He still wears the clothes that used when mining in the caves around Warfang. His clothes are based of that of medieval miners and and farmers. Notice how they also appear to be worn as if they had been used constantly in his days at work.  He a strategic genius and helps the young dragons come up with plans strategies for fighting evil. He's also the one who helped Cynder improve her blacksmithing skills. He activates his swiping over the earth emblem in his belt.

I really tried on this guys. These are some of my favorite characters in all the video games I've played and I tried my best not to screw them up. 

Like I said before, I wanted to get most of the character designs out before I started uploading the comic. SO next time I'll either be uploading the comic it self or another group of character redesigns. Please comment and fav.
